Do you have an idea that could run as a business whilst doing good at the same time? This could be the programme for you.

It aims to support people who want to set up Socially Trading Organisations. This means purpose-led organisations that are not reliant upon grants but generate their own income to do more good.

Participants can expect a 121 diagnostic meeting via Zoom, followed by a 1-day accelerator training day to help you:

• Explore and test your idea
• Learn business planning techniques and skills to decide if your idea is ready to launch
• Develop a tailored action plan to help you achieve your ambitions
• Explore different social business legal structures to find the right one for you

After the 1-day intensive training, you can expect weekly mastermind sessions where you'll be encouraged to apply the lessons learnt to your organisation. They're online and recorded so you can watch back at a time that works best for you.

Beyond this, you can access 121 coaching when you're ready to register your business. We can help you every step of the way, even applying for a start-up grant!

This fully funded programme is open to residents in Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.
