CBI People and Skills Network (North East)
Facing up to the Workplace Connection Crisis
Join us for our next People and Skills Network (Nort East) on Thursday 08 May which will kindly be hosted by Gateshead College. During this session will be joined by Di Gates, Founder of Connection Heroes to explore why human connection is more important than ever in the fast-changing world of work, and what you can do to improve it.
Di and her team have now completed a pilot programme with over 60 learners across 5 organisations, and she’ll share exclusive insights about:
● Why human connection matters at work (for people and profit)
● Key trends that are impacting connection in our modern workplace
● Working examples of how other organisations are implementing new ideas.
Following Di’s provocation, our roundtable discussion will explore how attendees – and your firms – are evolving their culture and engagement strategies to adapt to an increasingly distributed workplace. What are the challenges and opportunities you face in maintaining human-centric workplaces that balance the needs of the business with the needs of your people?
You’ll benefit from this event if you’re a Leader in People, HR or L&D functions, a practising team leader, or if you have a passion for culture, employee wellbeing and the future of work.
The session will be extra handy if you’re tackling any of these challenges:
● Getting leadership buy-in to a more human-centric culture or EX strategy
● Embedding a human-focused culture that helps you keep your best people
● Supporting your managers to keep their hybrid teams connected and engaged
● Improving communication and collaboration within and between departments
● Keeping your team positive and engaged at times of fast growth or change
