The Millin Charity's Local Women Local Enterprise project supports women to set up their own businesses. This 3-week Confidence Building for Business Course will cover the following:

Session 1: Understanding your Business

By the end of this session participants will be able to;

• Describe the business clearly and positively
• Articulate the value of the product/service to clients

Session 2: Managing Challenges and Standing your Ground

By the end of this session participants will be able to;

• Exercise assertiveness and manage conflict
• Respond to challenges expertly and confidently

Session 3: Confidence in Networking and Selling

By the end of this session participants will be able to;

• Prepare effectively for networking and selling opportunities
• Respond confidently and appropriately to opportunities

Session 1: Monday 14 October 2024 12.30-3.00pm

Session 2: Monday 21 October 2024 12.30-3.00pm

Session 3: Monday 4 November 2024 12.30-3.00pm

Eligibility

• This course is available to women who live in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside & Northumberland.
• This course is fully funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund – eligibility criteria may apply.
