Do you have an idea for a business that will benefit people, planet or place (a specific area) but not ready to jump into the financial business planning just yet? This half day workshop is just for you!

What to expect...

• You'll be asked to consider your mindset and the approach you need to take as a purpose-driven business
• Explore the Why's and How's of your idea; helping you to refine them & dig deeper into your purpose
• You'll have the choice to speak to 1 of 3 different social business owners who will share their story and answer any questions you might have (themed speakers: Community: The People's People CIC, Art & Craft: Take pART CIC, Environment: Ecologico).
• You'll have space to connect with likeminded people to support you on your way.
• You'll leave with information about the support available to get you going (including start-up funding and the more detailed business planning support you may need!)

Who can attend...

Any resident of Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside or Northumberland. It doesn't matter if you have the spark of an idea or a fully costed business plan, the team would love to meet you and help you on your journey.
