If you are a local business based in the inner East End of Newcastle, then join BIPC North East’s next Business Breakfast on Thursday 18 January from 8.30am at Chucho's, located on Shields Roads, Byker.

These meetups are a great opportunity to network with your local business community in a relaxed setting accompanied with a cuppa and a croissant, plus learn important updates regarding the Newcastle East’s High Street Project

This particular session will focus on developing a vision for Shields Road, part of the wider work of the Newcastle East High Streets Project. This is an opportunity for local businesses to participate in an interactive workshop about the high street, explore themes and priorities as well as contribute ideas and knowledge that will inform a vision and longer term plans for the area. The session will consider:

• What makes Shields Road unique?
• What are the key strengths and weaknesses of the high street for businesses? 
• Is there a gap between the identity and image/perceptions of Shields Road?
• What are the key opportunities for the future?
• What types of activities would you like to see to support the high street?

Who should attend?

This activity is specifically for businesses who are based in and around the following areas of the East End including; Shield Road, Chillingham Road, Heaton Road, Heaton Park Road, and Welbeck Road.
