People, Potential & Opportunity Conference
The landscape of governance and business has shifted, and it's here to stay. Devolution offers a unique opportunity for regions to take control of their own destinies, driving growth and fairness through better working practices. Business as usual is no longer ‘the usual,’ and success now requires a new approach. With devolved powers, regions like the North East can implement policies tailored to local needs, fostering inclusive growth, creating better jobs, and promoting fairness in the workplace.
The North East Combined Authority (NECA) plans to bring the North East business community together to an inspiring and motivational event themed around people, potential and opportunity. The aim of the event is to inspire, share and communicate the possibilities for growth where businesses adopt good work best practices, and to encourage businesses to take action and think about how changes and improvements could be good for their business, good for the future of our region and its people.
This is a face to face event with a keynote speaker and influential regional leaders. Attendees can hear from inspiring business leaders on topics such flexible working, communication, social responsibility, and inclusivity and balance. Attendees will also have a chance to network with peers, and refreshments will be provided.
