A fully-funded short programme suitable for North of Tyne business owners to develop their leadership skills and grow the business.

Leadership roles sometimes emerge organically, especially as a business grows. If you're taking on new staff, then you may benefit from this short course on Leadership skills to help you, and them, make the most of the role.

Open to business owners/founders, and their nominated employees, this fully-funded leadership development programme was developed to support businesses in Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside to grow the business with a happy team.

You are invited to nominate yourself or your employees for the programme where they will cover topics such as:

• Leadership through self-reflection
• Leading strategically
• Change management, culture & values
• Leading & navigating during uncertain times

The next cohort begins on 24th January 2024 and launches in-person at Cobalt Park. Candidates are expected to attend all 4 sessions and a CPD certificate will be awarded at the end of the programme.

Businesses accessing this support will be asked to take part in a brief phone-based diagnostic to ensure as much as possible is gleaned from the programme.

Eligibility This is a North of Tyne Combined Authority funded programme for businesses registered in Northumberland, Newcastle upon Tyne and North Tyneside, United Kingdom.
