nbsl.org.ukNBSL, in partnership with the North East Combined Authority and Northumberland County Council are offering the In Work Support Programme (IWS) with funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The programme has been designed to help businesses in Newcastle, North Tyneside or Northumberland improve their approach to Staff Retention and Staff Progression
Businesses on the IWS Programme can benefit from the following:
- Diagnostic support to clearly identify areas where support can help to improve Staff Retention and Progression
- Access up to 12 hours of fully funded One to One Specialist Consultancy support to develop and implement solutions to address Staff Retention and Progression issues
- Access to fully funded Specialist Workshops on topics related to the improvement of Staff Retention and Progression
The specific issues that create Staff Retention and Progression problems can be numerous and will vary depending on the Sector in which a Business operates. Below is an indication of areas where the IWS Programme may provide support:

Eligibility
Trading businesses based in Northumberland, Newcastle or North Tyneside with Staff Retention and Progression issues.
