Who is DASA?

The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) is an innovation hub for government, helping industry and academia turn ideas into innovative equipment and services for national security and military users; in order to help maintain security and military advantage over our adversaries to protect people, and to build prosperity for the UK.

DASA accelerates innovation by identifying and funding the most novel and desirable ideas from industry and academia.

Who is the Host?

Anna Taylor, the Innovation Partner for the North East, is proactively seeking innovative ideas and novel research and development, that could be of benefit to Government Defence and Security stakeholders.

During the 'Meet DASA' webinar , Anna will explain to you how DASA funds novel ideas through a range of innovation competitions and programmes.

Who should attend and why?

If you are new to DASA, or wish to hear about our current activity, this webinar is for you. DASA seeks ideas from a range of sectors – and routinely seeks solutions to specific challenges. We work with both Academia and Industry, and applicants are frequently new to DASA and may not have supplied the defence or security sectors previously. We are interested in meeting and connecting with businesses and academia, big and small from all regions and internationally.
