Discover the opportunities for your Services business in Ireland

From 27 to 29 September 2023 we are inviting companies from the North of England to join us on this exclusive trade mission to Ireland.

The trade mission is the ideal starting place for any Services business who are new to exporting, to explore how to get started with selling internationally.

About the mission

We will be visiting the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Ireland’s largest entrepreneurial hub with an international community of service orientated businesses, giving you the opportunity to meet companies and network with likeminded business professionals.

Why Ireland

Ireland is an important trading partner for the UK. Trade and foreign investment are encouraged, and growth is strong. There is a long history of robust trade between the UK and Ireland. Irish consumers and businesses are very familiar with UK goods and services and see them as high quality. UK companies receive positive support from local partners.

Ireland is a great place for UK businesses to start exporting for the first time, as business practices, laws, systems of finance and broader culture are similar to the UK. Ireland is the UK’s fourth largest export market, with a total of 54.7 billion pounds worth of exports recorded in 2022.

Cost and eligibility

To qualify as a delegate you must be a business who has little to no export experience to date. We only allow one delegate per company and will assess you suitability for the mission before confirming your place.

The trade mission is free to join and includes all programme activities, however participating delegates will be required to pay for and book their own travel, accommodation, insurance etc.
