Certification – Export Documents

The North East England Chamber of Commerce is the government appointed issuer of export documents in the North East of England. Their international trade team process over 20,000 export documents each year facilitating export from the UK to around the world.

Export Documentation

Documentation is at the heart of international trade, it is essential you have the correct export documentation in place to avoid contractual issues, transport delays or difficulties getting paid. The NEECC can advise you on the documents required for each overseas market, talk you through each stage or handle the entire process on your behalf. They have British Chambers of Commerce accreditation and are certified to provide and issue a wide range of documents used in international business based on relevant export and import requirements and trade regulations. Services include:

• Certificates of Origin – A quick and easy way to apply for your Certificates of Origin by using our secure online service.
• Movement Certificates – They are authorised to issue movement certificates, also known as an ‘EUR1’this enables importers in certain countries to import goods at a reduced or nil rate of import duty under trade agreements between the UK and certain countries.
• Letters of Credit – A fully managed, comprehensive Letter of Credit service that helps guarantee payment for your exports.
• Carnet - For hassle free transportation of professional equipment, commercial samples and goods going to international trade fairs or exhibitions.
