Food and Drink North East (FADNE) is a community interest company (CIC) made up of local business owners and experts who understand the challenges the food, drink and hospitality sectors face and are working together to solve them.

A network that connects, enables and encourages collaboration across the region. Their aim is to build the North East’s reputation as a flourishing food and drink destination with local heritage, sustainability, innovation and community at its heart.

Everyone is welcome to join their community that makes up the amazing food and drink landscape of the North East. They already have 750+ companies involved, ranging from big corporations to small producers, but they need you too!

From fisherman, farmer, food producer or manufacturer to restaurateur, retailer and food buyer. You will become a valued affiliate, associate, community partner or partner of an engaged network where business owners, thought leaders and sector specialists across the North East can connect and collaborate with others across the region’s food, drink and hospitality industry.

North East Rural Growth Programme

Food and Drink North East (FADNE) has been appointed as a key delivery partner of the North East Rural Growth Programme (RGP).

The three-year initiative, which is funded by the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority, provides targeted support to businesses across the North East to help them start, grow and become more resilient. 

FADNE is leading on a dedicated food and drink offer, delivering tailored one-to-one business support, practical workshops, and valuable networking opportunities to businesses across the food, drink and hospitality sectors in the North East. Follow this link for more information.
