What is Police CyberAlarm?
Police CyberAlarm is a free, Home Office-funded and policing-led cyber security service that helps organisations identify cyber threats, vulnerabilities and suspicious online activity targeting their systems. It is available to businesses, charities, public sector organisations and educational institutions across the UK.
The service helps businesses strengthen their cyber resilience by providing:
- Vulnerability scanning of websites and internet-facing systems to identify known security weaknesses.
- Threat monitoring and insights through an optional Secure Sensor, which identifies suspicious and potentially malicious activity targeting an organisation's network.
- Clear reports and practical guidance to help businesses understand cyber risks, prioritise action and improve their security measures.
- Access to expert intelligence that helps organisations detect risks earlier and respond more effectively to cyber threats.
