With the support of the North East Combined Authority, the North East Fund has launched investment funds, which provide finance to start-up and existing companies across the North East.
The Accelerate Fund – invests £50,000 to £1 million in innovative, early stage companies from start-up to scale-up stages, by buying shares in your company (equity investment). It is managed by Mercia Ventures, which works with ambitious founders to help them accelerate the growth of their business.
The Elevate Fund provides loans of £50,000+ to companies seeking to finance growth plans and can invest up to £1m in more established businesses. It is managed by FW Capital which has an experienced local team who tailor finance packages to the individual needs of your company.
