The Esports Business Cluster (the first and only in the UK) aims to create and support businesses already actively working or seeking to work within the esports sector.
The project will be delivered from the National Esports Performance Campus at The Place in the centre of Sunderland in partnership with partners from Sunderland Software City (SSC) who will bring their expertise to deliver the incubator/accelerator activity.
There will be a number of specific interventions to support entrepreneurs and SMEs including, a business accelerator, workshops to help businesses from across the north east engage/develop new business opportunities within the sector and networking events allowing local SMEs to connect with esports businesses, partners and investors.
